I have lived (3 years in the region!), traveled and researched throughout southern Africa and led numerous safaris to Namibia and planned many more safaris for independent travelers. My time guiding groups, planning independent safaris and writing my Namibia guidebook and various articles has allowed me to form many relationships with reputable car hire companies, safari camp owners and managers, and local guides. This type of firsthand knowledge has given me an insider’s knowledge of many of the camp/lodging options available. I put special emphasis on great guiding, which combined with selecting outstanding locations for wildlife and one-of-a-kind cultural experiences that lead to the most unique and best of safaris.
